Freedom of mind means growing wings

Der fertige Sketch des Kleides von dem ihr schon die Bleistiftskizze gesehen habt. Ich weiß nicht, ob man es so gut erkennen kann, aber es ist in einem sehr hellen Grau gehalten. Ich wollte es nicht ganz weiß haben. Der Kontrast war mir zu stark für den Schmetterling.

An dem zweiten Sketch den ihr sehen könnt muss ich noch einiges machen. Der Stoff des Kleides wird nude in Lack und der durchsichtige Teil muss noch schwarz, da es Chiffon ist. Die Shoulderpads sind in mattem schwarz gehalten und mit silbernen Schraubnieten besetzt.

On the top you see the finished sketch of the dress you already know the pencil drawing of.

I don't know whther one can see it that well, but it's a very light grey.

I avoided white, because it would be a far too aggressive contrast to the butterfly.

The second sketch isn't finished yet.The top of the dress' fabric is going to be nude patent leather and the bottom part is black chiffon. 

The shoulder pads are flat black and studded.

MONDRIAN FASHION, AW-YEAH

Hallo ihr Lieben, 

ich weiß, ich weiß: Es ist doch MBFWB, aber ich kann wegen des Abis leider nicht dort sein und bin echt traurig darüber. Na ja, vielleicht klappt es nächstes Jahr. 

Aber nur weil ich nicht dort sein kann, bedeutet das nicht, 

dass ich die FW komplett an mir vorbeiziehen lasse: 

NIEMALS! 

Ich recherschiere schon fleißig für euch und beglücke euch dann mit meinen "Best Ofs" 

insofern ich die "vom weiten" beurteilen kann.

Kommen wir zum heutigen "Header" ...

Die meisten von euch haben bestimmt schonmal irgendwie etwas von Piet Mondrian gehört,

wahrscheinlich(ist ja ein Fashion-Blog hier) im Zusammenhang mit Yves Saint Laurent. 

Die Gitterbilder von Mondrian habt ihr sicherlich schonmal gesehen und um es kurz und knackig zu halten: YSL hat diese Gittermuster auf Kleider "projeziert"

Diese waren eher schlicht gehalten. 

Im Zuge einer Aufgabe in meinem Kunst-LK habe ich das ganze nun etwas anders interpretiert. Schreibt mir mal was ihr davon haltet<3

I knooow, it's MBFWB, 

but I can't be there because of my Abitur(somewhat higher than the A-Levels). It pretty much upsets me, but maybe I'll be able to go next year..hopefully.

But just because I'm not there, doesn't mean I'll ignore it:

Concerning todays "header" :
I bet many of you already heard something about Piet Mondrian, 
probably ( after all this is a fashion blog) in connection with Yves Saint Laurent.
For sure you've seen Mondrian's "graticule" pictures and to get to the point quickly:
YSL took the idea and printed the graticule patterns on some creations.
In Arts class we are now supposed to use these patterns on e.g. on place settings or clothes.
And I guess you know what I decided to do.
But I interpreted Mondrian& clothing a little differently.
I'd be happy to read your opinion in the comment section.

DIOR FACES ADDITION & Quill

Hello there,                                                               

 as one can tell from the headline and the pictures I had a creative break out yesterday night, or better said today early(very early) in the morning. Slowly it's getting a "DIOR 2011 FACES"-Collection on my door, haha. No, but seriously, I forgot to paint that one, although it's my favourite of them all... I Hope you like it.
Then I found something my brother gave me ages ago for Christmas and I used it to sketch the cape I want to create. Ink& quill are such good drawing tools, I love the ink-effect. Concerning the cape: Yesterday I already orderen tons of black and haematite bugle beads to apply on the cape when it is sewed.

The Fire In Your Eyes

 Hello there,

wow, I haven't been posting sketches for a while! So now you get a special one. It's a viscose-satin dress. The reddish brown parts arre viscose and the beige ones are satin with snake skin applications. No snake died for that sketch, promised! As you may know snakes get themselves a new "coat" every four weeks, they moult. I hope you like it. Leave me your opinion below, I'd be happy about it. Coming to snakes I have an amazing announcement: We'll be shooting with  an albino python as soon as I have decided which dress I create and shoot.
