Alle wissen es: Die Modewelt wirkt bzw ist manchmal sehr hart, kalt und herzlos. Nicht nur gehen hier Monate wie Jahre vorbei, viele der Anhänger nehmen sich und Arbeiten der Designer viel zu ernst/wichtig, selbst wenn sie selbst nur irgendeiner der tausenden Fashion-Blogger sind, die der vollen Überzeugung sind sie hätten sonst wie viel Ahnung für Mode und Andere spüren lassen, dass ihre Meinung nicht wichtig sei, wenn sie nicht auch "so viel Ahnung" hätten.
Deswegen mag ich folgenden Karikaturisten den ich euch heute vorstelle sehr sehr gerne. Er nimmt es alles nicht so ernst und vor allem kritisiert er die Modeindustrie teilweise gewaltig, aber mit Witz.

Achraf Amiri heißt er und er kommt aus Brüssel. Ich habe hier extra Bilder ausgesucht bei denen man keine bestimmte Kollektion kennen muss um es zu verstehen, außerdem sind das einige meiner Favoriten!

Er nimmt hauptsächlich, aber nicht nur, die Modewelt auf die Schippe und das auf eine Art und Weise die sicherlich nahezu jeden schmunzeln lässt. Wie schon angedeutet braucht es um einige seiner Arbeiten richtig zu verstehen etwas Kollektionen-Wissen, aber das muss gar nicht allzu groß sein, denn es sind meiner Meinung nach Stücke, die oft abgedruckt wurden etc...

Es wäre schön, wenn sich manche Modeliebhaber mal eine Scheibe dieser Leichtigkeit abschneiden würden.

We all know that: the world of fashion very often is hard, ice cold and heartless. (we love it anyway, don't we?)  Not only that months are counted as years in the fashion industry, but in my opinion many of its devotees take themselves and work of famous designers far too seriously and important, even if they're just someone of the great grey mass of fashion bloggers, who think they have hell of a knowledge about fashion and the right to show others that their opinion is insignificant as long as they haven't that "hell of a knowledge" about fashion themselves. Sorry, but that's BULLSHIT!
However, this is why I love the "cartoonist" I introduce to you today sooo much. He doesn't take everything so serious and he criticizes fashion industry drastically, but funny though.


Achraf Amiri is his name and he lives in Brussels. I chose all these pictures on purpose, because they don't need a knowledge of some collections  to be understood. And furthermore are they some of my favourites!!

Mainly he focuses on fashion world and its madness, but that's not always the case. Still I think you don't need "hell of a knowledge" about fashion to laugh about many of his pieces, though some require a little knowledge of some famous collections.
I'd love some fashionistas to try being a little more critic and unformal with it.

Oh so Rokoko...

»OH SO ROKOKO «

Inspiriert von "Marie Antoinette"(Film), den unser Kunst-LK sich angeschaut hat (das 3. Mal für mich), hatte ich total Lust mich mit Rokoko zu befassen. Und viele denken ja immer, dass man sich einfach hinsetzt und schnell mal eben etwas zeichnet: FALSCH! 2 1/2 Stunden reiner Recherche zu Rokoko sind dem vorangegangen. Es ist wirklich unheimlich interessant und vor allem richtig, wenn man nicht die typischen Fehler machen möchte.

Ich bin eigentlich ganz zufrieden, allerdings habe ich mich mit dem Part unter den beiden drapierten "Rockschichten" echt schwer getan, weil ich eine 3. viel zu langweilig und zu viel fand und nicht wusste was ich stattdessen machen sollte.
Ich habe mir auch schon überlegt, ob ich nicht eine ganze Rokoko-Reihe machen soll. Was haltet ihr davon? Und meine zweite Frage: Soll ich diesen Sketch colorieren,oder nicht? :O
Allerdings habe ich total vergessen, dass noch ein ravenclaw-Special aussteht, tut mir Leid Q m Q.

Inspired by the movie "Marie Antoinette", that we by the way watched during arts class lately(3rd time for me), I wanted to know more about rococo. And many people think one just takes pencil and paper and draws something, but that's not the case. In fact I did 2 1/2 hours of research before starting this sketch, because I wanted to avoid the typical mistakes that sort of come almost always with something about rococo. Unfortunately the page I used is German, but maybe you like to take a look at the pictures. It's pretty good though:

All in all I'm pretty sattisfied with that sketch, although I found it very hard to decide how to design the lowest part of the dress, underneath the drapings.
I already thought of drawing a series of rococo-sketches, I'd really like to. What do you think?
And another question: Do you think I should colour that sketch with SAI or rather turn to the Ravenclaw-Special again? :/

Colours of Evil

Hallo ihr Lieben, 

So, das Augen Make-Up für das Shooting mit den Shirts steht. Nicht zu unauffällig, nicht zu krass. Momentan bin ich damit zufrieden. Das kann sich allerdings noch kurzfristig beim Shooting ändern. :)

Ich arbeite gerade an Bowie-Shirts, bzw. an Shirts mit dem Ziggy Stardust Lightning. Ein schwarzer Prototyp ist bereits fertig, allerdings ist die rote Textilfarbe auf schwarzem Jersey etwas blass und deswegen werde ich mir Bügelfolie für das nächste vorknüpfen. Auf unsere Präsentation haben wir übrigens 15 Punkte gekriegt(1+)!

 Hello there,

as you can see the eye make-up for the tee-shooting is set. Neither too extreme, nor too casual. At the moment I'm pretty sattisfied with that, but that may change during the shoot.

Furthermore am I working on Bowie-tees, better said tees with the Ziggy Stardust lightning. A black prototype is already finished, but I'm not sattisfied with the red textile colour that's why I'll try it with some other stuff.

By the way, we got 15 points on our presentation, which is an A+. <3
