        "Hi there,
I'm Samara and the dog on the left is my mother. I was named after her... She fought for me and my brothers and left her life for us. Our little family was found by the helpers of the organisation "Tierhilfe Antalya" in Turkey. As you can see my mother was very very weak and couldn't give us milk. Fortunately they found and saved us. They gave my mother food and my brothers and I got milk for puppies(we were still very young, only a few weeks old). After that Doc. Murat gave us medical care. Soon my brothers and I were stabilized, but my mother was still very weak and ill, but she didn't give in. We found an other dog who took care of us and until she adopted us my mother used all her strength to be there for us. When she realized we were finally safe, she let go and went. She was a great mother, but without the human's help, we wouldn't have survived... Maybe you decide to help us, too. There are so many dogs like us...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello there,

recently I got a Blog-Award from Twee, thanks again! I put her Blog-Link below the very first picture of this posting, maybe you want to check it out...
I also linked three of my favourite "unknown" blogs.

As I have already written, I have been back from Venice since yesterday and against all expectations I wasn't even tired or exhausted...strange.
Nevertheless it was quite stressful, as there was a thunder in Treviso(where the airport was) and because of that our flight back to Bremen was postponed for an hour. The airport was almost overcrowded and there were a lot of small children and babies, who were unfortunately very impatient so to speak...In addition to this, we have two very annoying girls in our course who are never tired of talking about the same goddamn thing for hours(and I mean for hours! Latest topic was the nailpolish they bought, and they're no fashionistas...). Everyone else of our course was close to a nervous breakdown because of them...
But the trip to Venice was amazing!
The last time I was in Italy with a class(a different one), it was terrible. We didn't like the class-members and they didn't like us. It wasn't half as funny as this time. It was alsmost perfect this time, we had loads of fun and laughed a lot, even together with our arts teacher. The hotel rooms were quite small and the weather wasn't that good the very first day, but Venice as such was the bomb. It is wonderful, even a second time and there were no small groups isolated, we were all one group. Everyone walked around with everyone and we all laughed a lot.
Furthermore we had a lot of luck that the Biennale was in Venice during this period. For the ones not knowing what the Biennale is:
The Biennale is an art "festival" where "every" country has a building a chosen artist show his work in. I'll probably write more about some artists  tomorrow.

ATTENTION:
THERE WILL BE A "SHE IS A KILLER  "-UPDATE
IN TWO HOURS!!!

She's Not A Friend, She's A Killer

Model: J. Anders

Model: J.Anders , "Bowie Lightning"-Shirt, 20€

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"She's not a friend, she's a killer is the motto of most the pictures of this shooting. I think I don't need to explain why, do I?
Model: L.Bluth, "Dirty Triangle"-Shirt, 20€
I have all the pictures on my computer at last, and I'm really really sattisfied with them and btw totally excited!
The work turned out to be wonderful in my opinion. The three girls did an amazing job, though they're no professional models. They may be not as tall as 1.80m , but they totally have the energy though. Another big THANKS to Linda, Jenni and Laura...
Here are the first of the pictures I already "photoshoped". I hope you like them and please let me know what you think of it!
And yes, the tees are 20€, but this has a very good reason. I'm going to explain it more detailed in one of the next postings, but this is what I can tell you already: In October(in my school vacations) I'll go to Side in Turkey and work in an animal shelter for stray dogs. These poor things need any help they can get, especially financial aid to pay medicines and operations, as they have a really tough life there. I'll work in an animal shelter for puppies and younger stray dogs, which especially need a lot of help. And all the money I earn with the tees and trousers goes to the doggies there.
In the next posting I'll write how you can order tees/trousers etc. I can't do it now, because in 8 hours I'm leaving for Venice and thus can't take orders til I come back. I hope you understand that...<3
Leave me a comment down below, I'd be happy about it. Have a nice day... :)

"Sam & Delilah"

Author of "Sam & Delilah", Laura Young

" This story, which until further notice will simply be named "Delilah and Sam ." marks the turn of a new era. It is a homosexual romance that I devised over the hours this fine June afternoon and is the first work that I will officially submit. [...] This story, while it may not be a traditional "short story" anymore, follows the relationship of two young women who become roommates after Samantha enrolls in an (unnamed) university and moves to a new city and ends up living shoulder-to-shoulder with the precarious and destructive Delilah. As the story unfolds, it comes clear that both girls have their burden and skeletons in their closets. Still, the longing for understanding and security fuel a classic love-against-the-odds.  "

http://cigarettesandtypewriterink.blogspot.com

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello there,

today I've got a little suprise with me, for you and for my friend Laura. I want to introduce you to a story, a very special story, a written story... Its name is "Sam & Delilah" and I'll leave it to the author to describe the short story:
You can see the trailer of the story below the very first picture. I hope some of you will read and feel the story with as much enthusiasm as I did. The narrator switches from Delilah's to Sam's mind constantly, but in a way one always knows who is "thinking". And this is one of the aspects I like best about the short story. I'm really looking forward to the second part...
Check out for the 1st part here:

The shoot today was pure perfection, but I'm way too exhausted to put the pictures up here now, so I'll do that tomorrow.
take care.

FITTING & PRE-MUs 06/02/11

Model: J.Anders

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Model: L. Young
Hello there,

the fitting's over and I'm finally at home again. It was an exhausting, but perfect day. We had a looot of fun and there are some amazing results(at least I think they are). Unfortunately I've to change a lot with the tees and the skirt, so we postponed the shoot to Saturday.
Besides the Pre-Make-Up and the fitting we "finished" a project for our arts lesson. We were supposed to create a flacon out of a piece of soap (no, I'm NOT kidding) and then photograph it.
I had a pretty good idea in school and edven managed to put it into practice, but  approx. 50% of my course thought my idea was pretty cool and used it too -.-
Model: L. Bluth
And since we are not the ones being sattisfied with something ordinary, we created our own, new, unique(in our course) ideas. We wanted a REAL shoot for a fragrance, with a model etc. And that's what we did.
Linda's fragrance is called "Amun-Ra" and that's why we built up the make-up on the concept of Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. (you can see it in the upper 2 pictures!) The "advertisment" for our flacons aren't yet finished., but it's a start.
The other pictures you see are a pretaste of the Pre-Make-Up& fitting day. There will be more tomorrow....

I hope you liked it and I'd be veeeeery happy, if you wrote a comment :D

[When tomorrow comes, we'll be heroes...]

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello there,

the day of the fitting is fixed: tomorrow. And if it doesn't rain on Friday, we'll shoot that day. Friday will be extremely exhausting for the models and me, I guess... We have to get up reaaaly early, because I want to catch the sunrise on camera and before that I need to do their hair and make-up. Besides there will be diverse shoots that day with different locations, outfits and make-ups. All in all there are 16 pieces we'll shoot that day at at least 4 different locations, and the thing I like best about it is that I hopefully won't need any "foreign" clothes, just shoes and some accessory, since I've created everything else before. Hopefully because the trousers are still in the process and I've to see whether they fit...
The only thing is that I haven't got any reflectors this time... D:
Well, Photoshop is your friend...
